We tried for a home-done engagement photo shoot this weekend - I haven't gotten done going through all of the photos but there are two shots I wanted to share - I read somewhere that engagement photos are supposed to capture the couple and how/who they are during the engagement period. I think these help to sum up a good chunk of it - what do you think?
I need to play with the color of the top one a bit more but what I would like to do at some point is get one of these printed on a canvas (Check out Color Inc) and hang it somewhere.. which one do you think would be better? I like the top one because both dogs are looking at the camera but I like the bottom because it looks more natural... your thoughts?

awesome photos! I like the top one
Very cool! I like the top one too!
Split vote here -- Charissa says top, I say the bottom one. You can't go wrong, they're BOTH good!
They are both amazing! I do love the bottom one though, it looks like everyday life!
Top one. Also check groupon in afew other cities. They frequently have canvas photo deals for vendors that ship anyway so it won't matter that they aren't in SA.
I absolutely LOVE both of these!!! Oh my goodness, WHAT a CUTE idea! As for the canvas, I've never looked into that; but is it possible to do more than one on a canvas? You could do a couple pics of your faces & have those in opposite corners, then have the two of your legs w/the dogs in opposing corners. IDK...just a thought. I guess if I had to pick one of these for a canvas I'd go with the top one; but I'm like you...the bottom one is so typical of "real life". :) So so cute!
Forgot one other comment... It's so funny, Egypt looks so serious & Bob looks like he's smiling -- almost laughing -- in the top photo. :)
Speaking of a deal on Groupon. Here's one for a photo canvas. Act fast. http://www.groupon.com/deals/canvas-on-demand-springfield-ma/
I like the bottom one best!
The bottom one is more natural, but I absolutely love Bob's face in the top one. :)
